By now, most people know the deal: Wrestlemania weekend is huge, not just for WWE, but for a number of independent groups as well. WWE will likely put together a big NXT card, the Hall of Fame ceremony and, of course, Wrestlemania itself over the March 31st-April 2nd weekend. But for many people in town, Wrestlemania might not even be the main event of the weekend.

WWN Live announced, via the More Than Mania website, their schedule for Wrestlemania weekend. There will be more than 10 shows over the course of the weekend, with something for just about everyone. The promotions holding shows under the More Than Mania banner this year include: EVOLVE, PROGRESS, Chikara, SHIMMER, Kaiju Big Battel, and Beyond Wrestling. Of key interest will be the supershow Mercury Rising 2017: EVOLVE vs. PROGRESS, which given the wrestlers on each rosters today could make for one hell of a combined show. We will be keeping close watch for more announcements regarding the cards and talent on hand for the weekend.

Tickets for the events go on sale Monday August 22nd.
