No point in burying the lede. That’s the name of a real-life goddamned WWE Network special in July: WWE Great Balls Of Fire. Presumably they went with this name “Old Man Thinks About The Good Ol’ Days” seemed to long or specific. Or, you know, it’ll be summer and summer is hot, I guess.
Either way, we now know when and where Brock Lesnar’s next match and first WWE Universal Title match will be. We should also know who his challenger will be after Sunday’s Payback, since the prevailing belief is that the winner of the Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman match will be Lesnar’s challenger in July.
Then again, WWE are on a big “let’s give unlikely people a title shot” kick, so maybe some rando wins a multiple-person #1 contender clusterfuck and Brock gets a dominant win leading into SummerSlam.
Anyway, how about that name, huh?
