Welcome to the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Review for November 19, 2017. For all WWE pay-per-views, I will go over every match, share the highlights, and look ahead to the next show.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto (Cruiserweight Championship) (Amore wins by pin fall)

Probably one of the few matches that I was one hundred percent sure who was going to win before the bell rang. Enzo Amore acted less like a punching bag then in their last encounters. While I gave their previous matches lower marks, this was probably their best match. Amore must now move on to another challenger, perhaps Mustafa Ali

Highlights: Kalisto hits the most perfect moonsault I’ve ever seen

Amore goes right after Kalisto.

A no cheat victory!

Grade: 8 out of 10

The Shield vs. The New Day (Shield wins by pin fall)

Steal the show right after it start? Check. This was going to be the match to beat the second it was announced. Everyone was on their game and the crowd was screaming from start to finish. Interesting reaction to Roman Reigns, who received more boos then the previous week. I think fans will have to decide if they hate Reigns, even in the Shield. Big props to Xavier Woods, who received and dished out a lot of punishment.

Highlights: Both teams counter each other.

Big E picks up Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at the same time.

Reigns hits a nasty spear on Kofi Kingston.

No one jumps higher then Kingston.

Unicorn stampede!

Triple Power Bomb from the top rope.

Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Asuka is the sole survivor of Team Raw)

There was so much to like about it. I worried that the crowd would not be in to this after the last match, but they were right there. A lot of surprising eliminations, especially when Bayley pined Becky Lynch. When it came down to it, it was Asuka who was standing tall. I’m impressed how they have booked the Empress of Tomorrow. No big squashes, but just taking every shot and going for more. Also, Tamina looked fantastic.

Highlights: Nia Jax and Tamina face off

Carmella slaps Asuka. Asuka smiles

Jax and Tamina trade head butts.

Asuka reverses Nayalya’s sharpshooter

Alicia Fox’s hat

Grade 10 out of 10

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. United States Champion Baron Corbin (Corbin wins by pin fall)

In a rare heel vs heel match, it was the Miz who played the bad guy. Using the Miztourage, the Miz could not stop the power of Baron Corbin. Corbin might have stumbled after his failure to cash in the Money in the Bank, but he has pushed ahead looking better each match. The only problem is that he is too good as a heel, making me wonder if a face turn is impossible.

Highlights: Curtis Axel’s neck brace is red

Two nasty End of Days

Mix misses the final It kick.

Grade 8 out of 10

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Usos win by pin fall)

We might be living in the golden age of Tag Team wrestling. Another strong match with both teams playing to their strengths.  The Usos turned up the speed, while the Bar went for power moves. While some might say this was another heel vs heel match, the Usos have been acting like baby faces after showing respect to the New Day. It might be that these two teams will hold on to their titles for a very long time. No one is at the level they currently operate at.

Highlights: The return of the Cesaro Swing!

Double team move by Cesaro and Sheamus, a combination leg drop and White noise

Samoan drop from the top rope

Grade 9 out of 10

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair (Charlotte wins by tap out)

Charlotte might be the AJ Styles of the Smackdown women’s division. She is able to bring out the best in her opponent. This is nothing against Alexa Bliss, she has talent to spare. But fighting against the Queen, she took it to a whole different level. Charlotte might still have to deal with Natalya, and Bliss has a date with Askua.

Highlights: Bliss throws Charlotte into the turnbuckle

Charlotte powerbombs Bliss from a guillotine

Charlotte lifts her knees into a jumping Bliss

Grade 9 out of 10

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles (Lesnar wins by pin fall)

Speaking of AJ Styles, he went to the limit against Brock Lesnar. What looked like a quick squash match became Styles fighting back. He targeted the legs of the Beast, trying to knock him down. He tried everything he had, but still couldn’t get the three. Lesnar looked faster then he has, running and slamming into Styles. The only problem is that I am having a hard time thinking that someone, someday is going to beat him. He is just too dominating.

Highlights: First few minutes are all Lesnar

Styles is thrown a few times the length of the ring.

Lesnar breaks the Ankle Crusher by slamming Styles’s head

Styles uses the ring steps to launch himself.

Lesnar sell his leg hurting

Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Triple H and Braun Strowman are the survivors for Team Raw)

If you looked closely, you could see the several story lines that are being developed for these ten men. There were some great moments, and a few fantastic matches might be on the card. The ending might rub some people the wrong way, but I will see how it is explained on the next Raw. Braun Strowman is the future of this company, make no bones about it. He has been booked to be the next destructive Champion.

Highlights: Shane McMahon tries to surprise attack Strowman. Does not go well

Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura pick up right where they left off in New Japan

Triple H does the crotch chop, Bobby Roode responds with the “Glorious Gesture”

All of Team Smackdown put Strowman through a table.

No one kicks out of the RKO

Zain and Owens attack Shane during the match.

Strowman threatens Triple H after the match. Triple H puts his hands on Strowman. Does not go well

Grade 9 out of 10

Final Thoughts: There were two bonus matches on the pre show. Elias beat Matt Hardy, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Breezedango. This was a great pay-per-view that might be the pay-per-view of the year. New stories start tomorrow and the brand war, for now, is at rest
