Welcome to the WWE Raw Review for March 26 2018. For both this and Smackdown, I will go over what the big talking points were, pick the match of the night, and look ahead to the next show.

Talking Points

No Back Down

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman opened the show looking very pleased with themselves. Heyman took the microphone and proceeded to do what he does best. He sold Roman Reigns while appearing to knock him down. Heyman also let it slip that the US Marshals were paid actors, part of their plan. Heyman did not close the segment, as Reigns came from the crowd. He tried to use a chair on Lesnar, but a suplex took him out of the fight. Reigns was cheered quite a bit, a testament that the build is working. Lesnar looks like a conceited champ who can only beat Reigns in sneak attacks.

Miz TV…Cancelled?

The Miz was not happy with his Mizterouge as he yelled at them for letting Finn Balor and Seth Rollins get the best of them. Rollins came to stoke the fire, saying Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel were the real reason that Miz has kept the Intercontinental Title. Balor then joined the fun, saying that Dallas had said something about the Miz. A few wrong answers got Dallas to admit that he said that Miz couldn’t fight. After slapping Dallas, Miz went on a tirade, saying that he will soon become the best Intercontinental Champion of all time, better then even Mr. Perfect. Axel did not like that remark about his father, and it looked like both men would attack Miz, but they went after Balor and Rollins. This segment seemed to be a testing ground how the Mizterouge would fare away from the Miz.

A Invitation

Rhonda Rousey and Kurt Angle talked about how they would deal with their Wrestlemania match against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Calling Stephanie soft, Rousey and Angle were interrupted by Paige and Absolution. Paige came into the ring and invited Rousey to join Absolution. Rousey said no thanks, which made Paige order Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to attack her. Rousey clocked Sonya and suplexed Rose. She then did a Judo thrown and looked to rip Rose’s arm off. Angle got her to calm down. Rousey’s ring work looks awesome, and I would not be against her joining Absolution in the future.

Match of the Night

Nia Jax vs. Mickie James (Jax wins by pinfall)

Mickie James might be one of the best women to ever compete in the WWE, but she was no match for the force called Nia Jax. Jax is fitting very comfortably into her role of the friend who was betrayed. She is incredible strong, at one point lifting James from the top rope and walking her to the center of the ring for a Samoan Drop. After the bell, Alexia Bliss tried to sneak attack, but Jax looked confused why Bliss though her attack would do anything. Bliss ran from the ring as Jax dared her to come back.

Conclusion

John Cena beat Kane, but there was no Undertaker to be found. Bailey and Sasha Banks threw down in the backstage area. Braun Strowman might have a partner, but he didn’t say who. Askua beat a newcomer named Jamie Frost. Only one show left before Wrestlemania.
