A recent mobile release that snuck up on most of the players of the popular Simon’s Cat Crunch Time game developed by Tactile Games; Simon’s Cat Pop Time. Fans of the original game expected to be challenged with puzzles, star challenges, tournaments and fun graphics. They didn’t expect however, to be surprised with a fun bubble popping game with the same fun characters and shenanigans.
a bit of a departure from the first Simon’s Cat mobile release, Simon’s Cat Pop Time revolves around popping bubbles of the same color, but with challenges along the way. For example, the levels can vary in ease and have some tricks such as unblockable paths or items such as water that cats particularly don’t like. Luckily, power ups provide a helpful resource to keep making progress.
Simon’s Cat Pop Time is still filled with a lot of color and animations which is fun to watch. The cats, our main characters, are still the same but this time around, saving the other local animals is the goal. The bad guy in the area doesn’t want the animals in his yard anymore and decides to trap them in bubbles. Somehow you must play to defeat him. This might be through playing the tournaments, asking for keys to progress, doing the daily events or using every cat you have in order to create a massive power-up that destroys everything on the board.
Even though the game is very fun and addicting, the game is also a boredom buster that helps your brain. Puzzles are a great way to work your brain and this is no exception. Sometimes the levels can be frustrating but the small tutorials along the way assist to make sure the experience is at an all time high. Simon’s Cat Pop Time is a game that can be played for hours. Not only is the game fun, but also progressive.
