Ubisoft announced the release of the new South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s DLC Bring the Crunch. With the content of the trailer and shows alike, content should be considered before enjoying the trailer in front of some audiences. Most of us however, find the content to be exactly what we’d hope from the creators.
All of our favorite characters are back to take on their superhero alter-egos at a scary camp. Since a lot of people globally are already looking forward to the Halloween season, this DLC fits in perfectly. This time everyone will be battling against monsters that parody the Friday the 13th franchise and many others. Horror fans will really enjoy this addition, especially since the kids are sent to a stereotypical summer camp.
Along with typical monsters, there will also be some new heroes too. Mint-Berry Crunch will be crash landing straight from his home planet Kokujon. His powers? Mint and berries of course! When the camp counselors start to go missing, a Coonstagram distress signal is sent out to unite the team and save Lake Tardicaca camp.
Mentioned in the trailer, the class called “Final Girl” will be adopted. The adopted powers are currently unknown but players will be able to keep the Final Girl class powers outside of the DLC when all of the tasks have been completed during the DLC. The Final Girl plays off of stereotypical horror movies where one player is left to fight the monster or final enemy. With this new addition as well, players will pick up new battle tactics to use as well. When everything is said and done players will be able to bring along these new skills and their new friend in to the main game.
The DLC for the South Park game have always been different from the main game. Taking on new challenges and new locations make this game grow larger each time. Grab you backpack and try to solve the mystery of what is going on at camp.
