Funko has many different genres. This was a big move when the company started to expand, for the fans of the company. Luckily for fans of movies, shows, ad icons and everything in between, there are always new releases coming out for the nostalgia in all of us.

Coming up this September with an unknown official release date, the collection of Coraline vinyls will hit shelves. Anyone that has a passion for odd things, and the Coraline movie should be super excited. The collection will feature six characters, mostly of Coraline of course, but also of the Other Mother and Mr. Bobinsky with Mouse.

The Coraline film released in February of 2009 and has quite the following. Director Henry Selick created a creepy children’s world following young Coraline and her travels to a new home. Upon typical inspection of the house, a door is discovered where a parallel universe exists and is a lot happier than Coraline’s own. With some favorable family messages, the Other Mother tries to claim Coraline and not let her leave this new found world.

Throughout the movie, fans get to see the different outfits of Coraline as she plays and explores. The new Pop! Vinyls will showcase her outfits how they were shown in the movie. For example, the Chase to this collection will feature Coraline wearing her raincoat, boots and a black cap, one of the first outfits we see her in. Others just showcase her in her normal outfits but one has a very special appeal. Specifically Pop! Vinyl number 425 is the Coraline Doll. For this one she has the button eyes and looks a bit dirty. It’s likely this one will be common around stores but for this release so far, 425 is the most appealing to look at.

For anyone wanting to get their hands on this Coraline collection, the company Pop In A Box is currently taking preorders. Other companies that take preorders regularly on most upcoming releases as well are; Entertainment Earth, Galactic Toys and Gear N’ Bits. More companies and their websites will get these as the release happens but so far the top three are listed. Prepare to spend at least $9.99 USD on each pop or roughly $59.99 for the set if you have to have them all.

Pop Pick of the Week: The Noid (Target)

A long time ago, Domino’s Pizza had a mascot that became hugely popular. There was even a video game made for him. The Noid was always trying to stop a pizza being delivered to a house in thirty minutes or less. Head on over to Target to get your hands on this red ad icon. Just don’t try to figure out what he is.
