This year Blizzard has worked very hard to get festivities under way during their seasonal Overwatch event, Dr. Junkenstein’s Revenge. Not only is the event live right now, Blizzard has also started releasing information about the exclusive BlzzCon Funko vinyls too! For any fans of the game specifically, now is the time to start getting online to reserve the BlizzCon exclusives, or just planning to go to the event, but sadly the convention has been sold out for a while now. Below is a list of the current Overwatch figures.

One of the first releases to come out for Overwatch was in September with the Gamestop releases of Orisa and her exclusive that has the alternate skin, as well as many other standard figures. These are not the Halloween versions but they started the season off for the line. Since the start of the Halloween season however, Hot Topic got the exclusive  Dr. Junkenstein’s Monster Roadhog. He is green and looks like, you guessed it, Frankenstein. He is the big enemy in the seasonal event. His owner is none other than, Junkrat aka Dr. Junkenstein. So it comes as no surprise that Junkrat also gets a Halloween vinyl as well.

Junkrat is adorned with his lab coat, blue goggles and gloves in perfect Junkrat fashion. He is exclusive to the BoxLunch website but makes a good addition to Roadhog since they pretty much go together. Since Junkrat is the leader of the seasonal event, other characters such as Mercy, Sombra and Reaper might make an appearance this season. So far however Blizzard has only announced  Mercy as the Witch and Zenyatta as the Cultist (he has a cool Cthulhu face).

Right now, Blizzard has virtual tickets for sale for anyone that can’t be onsite this year. Anyone looking to get the exclusives as well can pre-order them now online straight from the Blizzard website without fighting the crowds. Hopefully other characters will make an appearance as well but even if they don’t, we are completely happy with the ones that are available right now.

So even if you can’t make it to the convention at the end of October, try to check in and see what’s going on. Or, just take a stroll around the stores and enjoy the season with all of the other Blizzard gear that is in stores too.

Pop Pick of the Week: Roadhog (Hot Topic)

Since Overwatch was the focus, we had to pick one of the Halloween Pops! for our pick. RoadHogg as Dr. Junkenstein’s Monster just looks awesome and can be picked up at Hot Topic. Just make sure not to laugh at it, people have been known to regret the day they laughed at Dr Jameson J Junkenstein.
