Welcome to Survivor Series for November 18, 2018. For all WWE pay-per-views, I will go over every match, share the highlights and look ahead to the next show.

10-on-10 Tag Team Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match ( Raw wins)

Probably the biggest Survivor Series match of all time started this pay per view. Judging by the crowd reaction, Smackdown is the babyface in this match. Kalistio looked like he might have gotten injured. Part of the fun of this match was watching the different teams and how their styles meshed together. The last four were New Day, Usos, Gable and Roode and The Revival. The last few minutes was just awesome to watch. The Revival  loss to The Usos, butt looked strong as well as debuting some high flying moves.

Highlights: The New Day give every team on Smackdown their own introduction.

Killian Dane dwarfs everyone in the ring.

Woods lifting Big E on his shoulders is always impressive

Dash falls into the ring trying for a tag

Gable and Roode hit a German suplex and neckbreaker on Big E

Gable hits a German suplex on the top rope… onto the floor.

Grade 8 out of 10

Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Raw wins)

The women went first to see who would get bragging rights for their brands. Bayley and Sasha Banks replaced Natalya and Ruby Riott. Nia Jax is playing up her punch with Lynch and was almost booed out of the building for it. Mandy Rose and Sonya Devill were at odds the entire time. Askua had to face Banks and Nia by herself. Jax beating Askua means one of the best heels in wrestling has finally arrived.

Highlights: Carmella calls for a dance break!

Carmella does a moonwalk into a DDT (Where have I seen that before?)

Banks hits a running knees on Askua outside the ring

Jax attacks Banks

Grade: 7 out of 10

Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura (Rollins wins by pinfall)

Two of the best workers and a dream match between Rollins and Nakamura. The crowd was surprisingly behind the US Champion. Given the two men involved, this was a physical matchup. Both men were equally matched, each riding a wave of offense and defense. Nakumura loss, but he looked his best for the past few months. Rollins can now move to Ambrose with his full attention.

Highlights: Rollins mocks the come on gesture

Rollins hits a leg drop on Nankamura between the ropes

Nakamura hits a kick on diving Rollins

Rollins dives onto Nakamura numerous times

The final sequence

9/10

Raw Tag Team Champions AOP vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar (w/ Big Show) (AOP win by pinfall)

The first all heel match of the night came with the Tag Team Champions squaring off. The Authors of Pain were dominating most of the match. The Bar were, for the first time, being the underdogs in the match. It would be Drake Maverick who decided the outcome. After being choked by The Big Show, and getting pissed off about it, The AOP were able to get the pin and go 3-0 up on Raw.

Highlights: Ceasro with a diving elbow from the middle rope

Ceasro with a Cesaro Swing.

Grade: 6 out of 10

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs. Mustafa Ali (Murphy wins by pinfall)

Buddy Murphy and Mustafia Ali were the next up, in a match with no brand warfare. Murphy moves like someone half his side. Ali makes everything he does look like poetry. This was a fantastic match that showed that if you are not watching 205 Live, you are missing out on some fantastic match. Murphy won in a near perfect match. Do yourself a favor and watch this if you missed it.

Highlights: THE WHOLE DAMN MATCH

Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Raw wins)

The Men were up next in a chaotic match. Things broke down between the Red brand very quickly. It seemed that Balor and Strowman were the only Raw Superstars liked by the crowd Drew McIntyre was an absolute beast, fighting with both Smackdown and his own team. But when it came down to Shane, The Monster was too much. Strowman did his part, will Stephanie do hers?

Highlights: Shane comes off the top rope onto Strowman on a table

Based on their short time in the ring, we need Balor vs Mysterio in a long match.

Lashley was throwing Mysterio around like he weighed nothing.

Coast to Coast by Shane

Strowman destroys three members of Smackdown in minutes.

Shane says bring it on to Strowman.

Grade: 9 out of 10

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair (Rousey wins by DQ)

The women were up next in a battle of Champions. Charlotte was much more aggressive, hitting Rousey with everything she had. Rousey had to dig deep as she was faced with an foe she could not finish off quickly. This match was once thought to be at Wrestlemania and this encounter showed why. The DQ finish was hot, with Charlotte snapping and looking deranged as she hurt Rousey. My God, her eyes!

Highlights: Charlotte throws Rousey into the bottom turnbuckle.

Rousey is busted open from a elbow

Rousey has to go to the top rope just to survive

Rousey kicks Charlotte in the face off a moonsault.

The post match beatdown.

Grade 10 out of 10

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Daniel Bryan (Lesnar wins by pinfall)

The main event was Champion vs Champion. Daniel Bryan had a very strange look on his face as he taunted Lesnar before the match. Lesnar was first amused and then angry. If anyone thought that Lesnar would tone it down for Bryan, you were wrong. Lesnar winning was the right call and this was his best match in awhile. Bryan looked fearless.

Highlights: The expression on Bryan’s face

Lesnar starts a Suplex City chants.

The entire match after Bryan hits the first running knee

Grade 9 out of 10

Final Thoughts: A slow start, but the last four matches made up for it. Strange that the Raw vs Smackdown angle is so hyped, and then one team sweeps the other.
