Welcome to the Raw review for December 3, 2018. For this and Smackdown, I will go over the talking points and pick the match of the night.

Testify

Seth Rollins kicked off Monday night by demanding that Baron Corbin come to the ring. What happened next was a brilliant piece of storytelling. Rollins rattled off everything that the internet has had a problem with for the past few weeks. From The Revival wrestling in meaningless matches to poor comedy bits, Rollins went off. Corbin tried to justify his decisions, but Rollins was on another level. Great job for WWE turning a negative in a positive.

Odds

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode again took on the team of AOP and Drake Maverick. Only this time it was for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Maverick was great here, getting in cheap shots and running whenever Gable and Roode showed any sign of life. When they tossed him over the ropes, it was like someone whipping a tennis ball. Maverick would make a costly mistake, trying to get the pin. Roode would reverse it and new champions were crowned. Roode and Gable could do a lot with the belts and AOP might turn on their manager.

The Anvil

Natalya came out to a great reception. She cut a strong promo, mentioning that her family and Vince McMahon were not always on the same page. She even mentioned the Montreal Screw job. She promised that when she wins on Sunday, it will be for her father. This brought out Ruby Riott who had a gift for her. A table with her father’s picture plastered on it. Great heel work. I like the Riott the person, but I hope the character has the hell beaten out of here

Match of the Night
Can’t believe we got this match for free.
Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin (TLC Match) (Rollins wins by getting the Intercontinental Belt)

The first TLC on Raw in a very long time was the main event. The great part was that the match was given a decent amount of time to grow. Corbin was the epitome of smugness, mocking Braun Strowman a few times. Rollins brought his best six days before he does it again. Rollins had to beat Corbin and referee Heath Slater, but he got the job done.

Conclusion

Ember Moon beat Tamina. Bayley beat Alicia Fox. Lio Rush beat Elias with some help from Bobby Lashley. Drew McIntyre beat Dolph Ziggler.
