Talking Points
The Man Does Not Back Down
Becky Lynch , still a little sore from Sunday, came to the ring with a few words for Ronda Rousey. She was interrupted by Charlotte who praised her winning the Rumble and taking a page out of the Queen’s book to step on everyone to get ahead. Charlotte got a fist for her words and the two ladies had to be separated. Charlotte hanging around might mean that she is closer to the match at Wrestlemania then the Man would like.
Mr Miz
Shane McMahon and The Miz celebrated their tag title win with some surprising touching moments. A video package played of their journey and Shane even brought out The Miz’s father for a awesome moment. Even the crowd was eating it up. This will make the eventual betrayal even harder to take.
A New Belt
Daniel Bryan has truly set a new standard for where he will go as a heel. He mocked the WWE Championship Belt and through it in the trash. He then had Rowan bring out a new belt, made of hemp and wood. It’s these little touches that make Bryan so good at what he does. Who else could be right in everything he says and become an even more hated heel?
Match of the Night
Heavy Machinery vs. The Usos vs. The Bar vs. New Day (The Usos win to become the number one contender for the Tag Team Championship)
Heavy Machinery are now part of the blue brand. It was interesting how they would play in this match. The crowd was behind them and they were able to beat the New Day. The tag team division has always been strong on Smackdown and Heavy Machinery are a great addition.
Conclusion
R-Truth beat Nakamura to become the new US Champion
