Welcome to the Raw review for March 25, 2019. For this and Smackdown, I will go over the talking points and pick the match of the night.

Main Event

Ronda Rousey is enjoying playing a heel. The way she toys with the audience and speaks with confidence shows that maybe WWE should have made her this character from the beginning. Rousey, Charlotte and Becky Lynch took on members of the Riott Squad in a beat the clock challenge. Lynch ended up winning with a few seconds to spare, a development that is making me question if she will leave New York as the champion.

Hart

Brett Hart and Jim Jim Neidhart were one of the best tag teams in wrestling history. The two just played off each other in a way that few other teams could. Their title reign began at Summerslam in an excellent 2 out of 3falls match against Demolition. While Brett became the biggest success story, Jim will always be remembered for that beard and that insane laugh. Watching Natalya tear up in the middle of the ring as the video package played announcing their introduction into the Hall of Fame was a little tough to watch.

Career

Triple H started his promo a little like DX era Triple H. Making fun of Batista, from his wet microphone to referencing the meme of the Spice Girls song, it looked like this would be a silly promo. Things turned serious as Triple H announced that their match at Wrestlemania will now be fought under the condition that if Triple H loses, his in ring career is over. This could be the Game’s last match, as the stipulation makes it seem like there is no other outcome.
Match of the Night
Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe  (Angle wins by pinfall)
I am glad that the powers that be allowed Joe to come over from Smackdown to make this match happen. Angle and Joe had some wars years ago and there was a little bit of that brutality left. It was also nice to see not everyone fawning over Angle, as Joe was determined to make Angle go to sleep. The victory was the crafty veteran pulling something over on Joe. Styles is up tomorrow
Conclusion
Finn Balor beat Bobby Lashley and Jinder Mahl to get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Ricochet and Black beat The Revival. Crews lost to Corbin. Banks and Bayley will take on all comers at Wrestlemania  McIntyre beat Ambrose in a Last Man Standing Match. https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw
