Ever heard of the show Naked and Afraid? Quite literally that is how the main character of this game wakes up. From Burning Daylight Team, which consists of 12 students from The Animation Workshop, comes a dystopian world where the main character has to find out why they woke up in a slaughterhouse, why they have a tattoo on their chest and who they are.

The visuals are quite stunning. The art style reminds me of a Gorillaz music video gone very dark. The player navigates the area which is similar to a two-dimensional game. There are countless puzzles to get through while the player tries to figure out the origin’s of the character they are playing.

This game is primarily for those who enjoy the visuals of video games along with the story, while it doesn’t have heavy combat it makes up with the macabre tones and background. It is a fairly short game, at 40 minutes, but it leaves an impact on the player.

The character does eventually find clothing about 15 minutes into the game (if you’re playing consistently through). In this world, the people who live in these huge slum cities are vying to be able to live outside again. The player eventually does make it outside. What happens next is a little surprising.
