Have any of you seen Indecent Proposal? If so, this show will seem all to familiar but with the gender roles reversed. Anne Montgomery (Renee Zellweger) is a venture capitalist who is willing to fund Lisa (Jane Levy) and Sean’s (Blake Jenner) small tech start-up, but at a cost.

What would you do? Personally, I know I would refuse the offer but that isn’t the case with Lisa and Sean. They say love can overcome all obstacles but this is one that I think will not survive the turmoil Anne causes. She is willing to give $80 million dollars to help fund Lisa’s biotech company, but only if she gets to spend a night with her husband Sean. It would be easier to say no and find another way then to accept the offer, but then the show would be short-lived. They say yes and everything spirals from there.

The 10 episode series involves more than just Anne, Lisa and Sean as there are multiple stories happening as everything unfolds. From Sean’s paramedic partner and his wife’s affair with the chief of surgery, to a gay couple struggling with inviting another into their bed, there is a lot of drama in this series.

If you’re a person who enjoys soap operas and most likely loved the Fifty Shades of Grey series, then this show is definitely for you.

This show isn’t exactly my favorite type. It is too much like a soap opera, which I never watch. Most of what happens in the show is very predictable and the characters aren’t very likable. It tries too hard to be something it isn’t.

Most of us are used to seeing Renee Zellwegger as the clumsy Bridget Jones and it feels like she doesn’t fit into this role very well. The ending leaves much open to a possible season 2, but I would hope they just leave it at the one season.
