With the new age of Paul Heyman as executive director of Raw, we are going to do a little running diary on this episode of Raw.

No promo to start off, just Strowman and Lashley in a last man standing match. Different already.

A match that goes everywhere ends with Strowman spearing Lashley through the LED stage, explosions everywhere, Graves swears uncensored and both men end in an ambulance.

Replays as Cole speaks softly about both men. Viking Raiders and New Day are next.

The Raiders are so intimidating Big E is the underdog here and it’s totally believable.

Samoa Joe attacks Woods which brings out Kofi. Both teams facing off now. Six men tag match coming up.

Joe is beating on Woods and keeps looking at Kofi. A true villain

The Raiders can fly. Kofi passes out to Samoa Joe. No tap, just passed out. How to look strong in defeat.

Drake Maverick’s wife Renee Michelle  is at Raw. Drake is trying to make amends for the wedding. Truth appears and Drake does not attack.

Cesaro and No Way Jose. Truth taunts Maverick, but is chased off by the locker room. Cesaro beats Jose and leaves. The Street Profits are in the house!

Shane and Drew out to talk about Roman. Careful Best in the World, you are in HIS hometown.

We get vintage storm sounds, lights going off before he strides to the ring. Shane and Drew get out of the ring.

Undertaker talks about collecting souls and sending Drew and Shane to hell. Still one of the best characters in the business.

Lacey Evans vs Natalya. Corbin trips Natalya which allows Evans to hit The Women’s Right for the pin.

Gallows and Anderson taunt Ricochet. They say someone is upset with him. Who could it be?

Gallows and Anderson tell a very different story to AJ. Styles and Ricochet for the US Title tonight!

The Miz and Elias in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Miz wins the first fall. Elias wins the second.

Elias knees the post so hard you feel it through the TV.

Miz puts the Figure 4 on and Elias taps out.

Becky and Seth cut a cute promo. Maria and Mike Kanellis interrupt and challenge the two for the match tonight.

Maria says she is pregnant, which is news to Mike. Mike taps out to the Dis-Arm-Her. Maria mocks Mike with some not very PG statements.

Paul Heyman shows up in advocate mode. Take a bow sir, you have earned it. Street Profits interrupt and actually befuddle Heyman.

Bliss interviews Nikki. Carmella interrupts and challenges Bliss to a match. Carmella wins very quickly. There is a sly mention on commentary that Graves and Carmella are together.

Carmella and Nikki is made during the break. Cross wins. Bliss makes it all about her.

Drake catches Truth unaware and pins him. He and Renee escape.

AJ and Ricochet will close us out.

AJ pins Ricochet, but the match is restarted after Ricochet’s leg was under the ropes

Ricochet wins, but AJ attacks after the bell. The Club reforms.

The night felt different. Things are starting off hot in the Heyman Raw era. Let’s see what Eric brings tomorrow.
