Welcome to the Raw review for July 22, 2019.
Story Progression
It seems that Renee has joined her husband Drake in his quest for the 24/7 Championship. As footage from Comic Con showed Truth having to defend against The Hurricane and Drake. Renee seemed to be confronting Truth about the problems he has caused with their marriage, but it was a ruse For Drake to get the pin. The night ended with Truth with the title and in a car with Renee. This might led to Carmella/Truth vs. Drake/Renee for Summerslam.
The Fiend struck again. This time it was the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley. The Fiend used Foley’s own Mandible Claw to take him down. This is a new development, as Bray might start using moves not in his usal move set. Attacking anyone is quick to show that this time, Bray will spare no one.
Reunion
It was a time for the Raw Reunion. This is one of those shows where it is just awesome to sit back and see who is going to show up. Besides the big names like Stone Cold and Ric Flair, you have Booker T coming back to the commentary table and Santino wandering backstage. It might not be the show where the story gets moved along as much, but damn is it a lot of fun.
