Welcome to the Raw review for September 30, 2019.
Story Progression
The premier of Raw did not disappoint. The stage has been redone with the screen flowing out to the entrance ramp. Pyro is back as well. Not only did the opening get some, but Superstars got it added as well. The new announce team of Dio Maddin, Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was on hand as well. There still are some bumps to address, but it felt like a new start.
Brock Lesnar might have a championship match against Kofi on Smackdown, but he was all over the red brand. He interrupted Rey Mysterio and proceeded to destroy him to start the show. He then grabbed Dominic and threw him around the ring. Later on, Heyman said no one could blame Lesnar as he was in fight mode. This display of carnage was impressive, but will Rey show up on Friday and cost Lesnar his championship?
