Welcome to the Smackdown review for January 3, 2020.
Story Progression
The new year brought some familiar faces back to Smackdown. The first was Sheamus , attacking Gable after his match. After the Miz lost to Kofi, John Morrison was in his dressing room as a spokesman. The final was the return of one of the best tag teams of all as the Usos came to the aid of Roman Reigns. It was great to see all four back.
Results
Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans beat Sasha Banks and Bayley and Alexia Bliss and Nikki Cross.
Chad Gable beat Dash Wilder.
Miz fell to Kofi Kingston.
Otis beat Drew Gulak.
Braun Strowman beat Cesaro.
Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler was no contest.
