Santana had an interesting interview with JR. Talking about a dark point in his life, he spoke about his father who had started going blind at age 14. Santana then says that he lost his father soon after. This was an interview from the Attitude Era, invoking the true tale Mankind told. I don’t know how much was true, but it hit a nerve. Santana felt like a real person, not just a wrestling character.
