For an epic adventure, this episode involved kids. Not only can they be excited by the things the teams build, but they also got to be the judges of each piece this week. Will Arnett opened the episode with a Storybook MadLib for the kids to fill in with all of their ideas. The teams were in for a wild challenge this week, and probably the most exciting so far.

As Will read the story of the land of Koo-Koo Magic, the teams pondered what a Taker Waker is and how they will put all of these toy eating gymnastic horses together into one piece. Although all of these teams are on equal footing, they get eight hours to complete this storybook piece. How they stand out will make or break them this week.

Each team made a design focusing on specific pieces, but they all had their ideas on how to make it come together. For example, Aaron and Christian wanted to focus on a horse with a messy house. While Boone and Mark want to focus on the whole story that will rotate to include a lot of little pieces.

Some ideas, like the Taker Waker being a rat, from Sam and Jessica, could be appealing or completely off the mark. Interestingly, Tyler and Amy also think the Taker Waker is a rat, and honestly I don’t know why. They do have a good idea though to create floating platforms. As a cool addition to the couple already loving kids, Amy announced that she is pregnant too!

Flynn and Richard wanted to focus on moving pieces. Much like a ride at an amusement park, they want to make a story conveyor belt. This has been the most unique so far. Something is missing however. Oh yea, that’s the twist! Suddenly Nicole Byer came riding across the stage in a Lego car. She’s the star of Nailed it and she was there to judge the seventh episode and call out the one hour mark.

That twist from earlier… well Nicole Byer decided to help Will get his catchphrase right and overall help Will with this seventh episode slump. So after our Lego Learn, she found a hole in the storybook the kids built and delivered to everyone the news. The story wasn’t complete. The kids came back to write the ending, and the teams had to listen to one child and build whatever they came up with. Completely crazy! This added an extra 5 hours to the clock though.

Each kiddo had a huge idea from robots falling from the sky, to angry vegetables and rainbow mushrooms. One child even mentioned toupees falling from somewhere. I don’t think the teams have ever been so under pressure until this episode. Although all of the challenges have been difficult, the teams and their decisions really show the viewers who is behind. My original prediction for the bottom two teams were Richard and Flynn, and Christian and Aaron, and both teams are fantastic at what they do. With the twist, almost all of the teams could end up at the bottom.

As the end comes, the kids go around and look at all of the creations and give their own judgement which was mostly positive. Marke and Boone however, decided not to use their Golden Brick despite one major flaw in their design. The Lego Masters make their final round to judge each piece and the top two teams are as follows.

Top Two: Tyler and Amy

Sam and Jessica

Bottom Two: Aaron and Christian

Richard and Flynn

Winners: Tyler and Amy

The Surprise: Tyler and Amy get to go to LegoLand Resort in New York.

Going Home: Richard and Flynn.

The guys were very positive about their experience but the competition has been so ramped up that everyone was in tears

Next challenge: Good Vs. Evil.

Lego Learn phrase of the episode: SOTS, which means, studs on the side. This is as simple as something as a sign on a post
