It can’t be denied that the “Resident Evil” series re-defined survival horror games over two decades ago with the original iteration. With fixed camera angles, jump scares and a control scheme that proved more hazardous to the player’s character than helpful, “Resident Evil” and its sequels inspired an entire generation of gaming & beyond – beyond included movies & comic books. But nothing compares to the true “Resident Evil” video game experience as seen as recently as last year when “Resident Evil 2” was remade for current generation consoles. Just like 1999, a sequel has come from the developers at Capcom to follow the success story of “RE 2” with a remake of “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis”. It’s time to return to Raccoon City and see if Jill Valentine can avoid death at the hands of a giant, killer tyrant as we get some first impressions of the “Resident Evil 3” remake.
