Welcome to the Smackdown review for April 17, 2020.
Story Progression
Sonya finally got to speak to Mandy Rose. When she did, she flipped the script on it’s head by calling out Rose as being selfish and that she would shine brighter then her former best friend. Dolph tried to get Rose back, but the fight escalated between both women. It was a smart move to have Sonya not try and win her friend back. This shows a much more dangers side of the Jersey Devil and keeps the program from going stale.

Tamina beat Sasha Banks to become the number 1 contender for the Smackdown Championship.
Sheamus beat Denzel DeJournette
Dana Brooke beat Naomi to advance to the Money in the Bank Match.
Daniel Bryan beat Cesaro to advance to the Money in the Bank Match.
Big E beat the Miz and Jey for The New Day to become the Smackdown Tag Team Champions
