Seven years ago the gaming world was preparing itself for the next generation – a gaming era headed by Sony and Microsoft as they geared up to release their Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles respectively. But like all great gaming generations, the seventh gen wasn’t ready to go down with a whimper. Developer Naughty Dog Studio crafted what would become a gaming masterpiece: “The Last of Us”. The story of Joel and Ellie – two strangers forced to work together in an effort to cure the disease that plagued & eventually wrecked society – traveling across the continental United States left gamers & journalists stunned & awed alike. Seeing the potential in continuing the story, Naughty Dog has jumped back on the figurative horse as Ellie does the same literally to allow the world to witness “The Last of Us: Part II”. It’s time to hit the road again, dust off those canvas sneakers, and avoid being bitten by a plant man as we get some first impressions of “The Last of Us: Part II”.
