Story Progression
The story of the night was who would face Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions. Three matches set up who would face each other in the main event. The smart money was always going to be on Randy Orton, but the two men he faced had their own stories. Seth faced Dominik, without the help of Murphy. Lee faced Ziggler, proving his debut was no fluke. Orton won, but he was scared of Lee. How many times do you see the Viper not even attempt a pin on a man he had just RKO’d?
