Fans of the comics, show or video game can sit back and enjoy building their own community, collect well-known characters, and make difficult choices that determine their morality.
At first glance, the game seems like another cash-grab because it does include microtransactions like any other mobile game. What makes this game different is that it rewards more often, and the leveling system is fairly simple.
There are people a part of the community that can be trained for fighting which can be used in battle or can be absorbed into another character to level their skills higher. While playing I have received multiple copies of the same characters and have used the extras to level one of my rare characters.
There are some continuity issues with the characters a person can use for waves of fights. Certain characters such as Negan (All Out War), Clementine (Telltale Games series), and Rick can be used but the story starts prior to The Governor attacking The Prison. Mega-fans know that some of these characters aren’t accessible until later or not a part of that story-line at all.
This game is meant as a short-time playable game to check back on daily. Building and upgrading the community takes time that can be skipped with the gold coins offered at the beginning, otherwise they must be purchased with real-time money.
