Throw back a couple of cold ones as Steve Austin brings his take on the interview show with Straight Up Steve Austin. We will review each episode as it airs.

Hot Glove

Steve Austin welcomes actor Rob Riggle. Riggle talks about his experience with wrestling as well as his military career as Austin drives him to their first experience. This turns out to be a tank which the boys will use to crush some cars. I never knew Riggle was a retired Marine. Riggle and Steve are on top and the cars do not stand a chance. Riggle tells the story of how he got the nickname “Hot Glove” . Rob talks about going back on active duty after 9/11. The Boys take a door from the crushed car for souvenirs.

Chicken

Steve shows Rob that he brought a chef out to teach the boys how to cook some fried chicken. The show is a mixture of everything. Riggle looks fascinated as the chef teaches them to crack chicken bones. Riggle talks about playing Colonel Sanders for KFC. This chicken looks great or maybe I am just hungry. The boys get ready to dig in.

Steve Austin brings out his Broken Skull IPA for Rob to Try. Riggle pretends he does not like it and spits it out. Riggle talks about how he went into comedy and how it was harder then being in combat. Riggle talks about trying out for SNL and how they audition new members. Riggle is big NFL fan and he talks about what it is like to meet and some of his heroes. For the final activity, Steve and Rob fire off a machine gun in a contest to see who can hit the car doors from earlier. This gun fires like a bat out of hell. This show looks fun. The guests look at ease and Steve has fun things to do.
