So it never fails that the second half of the year gets extremely busy with Funko in full swing with releases. They start with a trickle and then next thing you know, the flood gates are opened at the top of the con season. With as much as I could possibly find, here are some big releases that are out now and available for pre-order.

The company has been very busy at work bringing out historical figures and more Ad Icons such as the Pez mascot that was only available at the San Diego Comic-Con. Since we are also on the cusp of Halloween (sorry Labor Day), of course, we will be getting some more happy haunts to collect. For example, Madame Leota just released as a Disney Parks Exclusive as part of the Haunted Mansion event.

For more realistic horror fans, Edgar Allen Poe with a crow is now available for pre-order. Anyone that is already on a roll on their Halloween collections, no matter what that may include, the next line of The Nightmare Before Christmas pop will be here soon.

The diamond collection Dapper Jack and Dapper Sally are out now at Hot Topic and there will be many more characters for the season. We expect the rest to be available between now and October but no solid date has been set. This year fans of the movie will get to look forward to the following: Vampire Jack, The Mummy, The Creature and the Box Lunch exclusive movie moment of Jack with the Fountain (green goo and all) releasing August 20th. I personally can’t wait to get my hands on these.

NASA celebrated their 50th anniversary of the moon landing this year and we wouldn’t be very far without the help of Albert Einstein. He gets his very own pop this year and is available for pre-order now. If you’ve studied physics at all then you might get a little giddy that Einstein is holding a chalkboard with his infamous E=MC^2 equation.

In the music lineup, it was announced that Iggy Pop and Rob Zombie with be getting their own featured vinyls. Iggy is now available and shirtless in his rocking pose. Rob Zombie, however, doesn’t look as “Godfather of Punk” as much as he is the man of metal and movies. He looks badass with the X on his forehead in a forboding outfit. Rob is still coming soon but I’m confident he will arrive well before Halloween when people go back to watching all of his horror movies.

On the lighter side of life, Disney is welcoming some iconic vinyls that are found all around the parks. From the terrifying ride Splash Mountain celebrating the 30th anniversary, the trio of Brer Bear, Brer Fox, and Brer Rabbit are all together in one pack. They look just as great as the animatronics you pass before being plunged in to the briar patch! They are currently available in the Parks.

You can’t have one without the other of course when it comes to Disney. Mickey has a new figure as a basketball player. He was spotted on ESPN and now is available at the Grand Floridian hotel and throughout the park. Another hard to find vinyl from Disney is the D23 member-only quartet of the Dapper Dans. I’m slowly dying inside that I don’t live closer to the parks, but you can’t have Disney happiness without the quartet greeting you as soon as you walk in.

The last one I have so far is the announcement of the Squirtle pop from Pokemon. We literally all need to catch them all and it’s about time Squirtle gets recognition. I’m hopeful that one day Squirtle will get a 10” release like Charmander and Pikachu but only time will tell on that one. As of now, we get to enjoy regular Squirtle. He is already out in the wild but finding him is another story.

Good luck with all of your hunting!
