Michael Myers is synonymous with Halloween because of the time of year he comes out to terrorize people. He started out killing at a very young age. When he was 6 years old he murdered his teenage sister Judith. He was then sent to a sanitarium where he spent about fifteen years being studied closely by Doctor Sam Loomis. Loomis has even said “Michael Myers is the most dangerous patient I have ever observed. He’s covering up. This catatonia is a conscious act. There is an instinctive force within him. He’s waiting.”
One person who has eluded him (depending on the timeline the viewer is following) is his baby sister Laurie Strode, originally named Cynthia Myers before her parents died. She has faint memories of visiting her disturbed brother and her original family, but that soon fades with time when she was adopted by Morgan and Pamela Strode.
Michael throughout the series has survived many blunt attacks and gets up with no injury it would seem. Over the course of all the movies, Michael has killed at least 121 people which is not far behind Jason Voorhees. He is a terrifying character like Jason because of his mute nature and cold stalk he has towards his victims. He deserved number 1 because no one can utter the name Michael Myers without thinking of the jumpsuit and terrifying mask.
