Mando is father of the year. There… I said it! While he may not know much about childcare, he is doing the best he can as a single father. There are more misadventures The Mandalorian and The Child face in episodes 4-6.Episode 4

Our protagonists arrive on the planet Sorgan hoping for a reprieve from the countless attacks they’ve endured. It seems that someone else has made a claim to the land and urges Mando to leave. Just when he was going to oblige, locals in the area beg for his help against raiders that terrorize their people.

Mando teams up with a merc named Cara Dune to take on the raiders and destroy the AT-ST they have in their possession.

Episode 5

Where Mando goes next is sure to take viewers back to watching A New Hope. They land on Tatooine after a shootout leaving the bounty hunter’s ship needing many repairs.

Without any credits, he isn’t going to get the repairs needed. He decides to try to see if there are any bounties to collect on in the area.

Most of this episode doesn’t involve “Baby Yoda”, he is left back at the ship for his safety. The woman who owns the landing zone takes it upon herself to babysit the little green guy while Mando is procuring funds.

Episode 6

After getting minor repairs done, Mando goes to an old contact for work. Ran is happy to oblige and sends a group on Mando’s ship for a rescue/break out mission. Most would question why a group would go on a mission on a ship being held together by tape, but it has a masking feature that will let them slip through to a prison ship holding a crew member of Ran’s.

My Review:

We need more Baby Yoda backstory. It has mostly been like Adventures in Babysitting and not much like Star Wars. Don’t get me wrong, I am still enjoying this season The Mandalorian but we aren’t seeing much content on Mando’s history or Yoda’s.

We will know more when the last two episodes of the season come out this month!
