With everything going on in the world, now is the perfect time to stay in and watch the most recent episode of Into the Dark. In this one, it’s all based around St. Patrick’s Day in a college town, but it’s hiding something more sinister.
Lovers of zombies, alien invasions are going to like this episode of Into the Dark. The show is being narrated by a local conspiracy theorist nut who sells drugs on the side. St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect time to selling to new clients and her usual. What she didn’t expect to find was an alien invasion based around an asteroid that landed in the town so many years ago.
It obviously had a very long incubation period before it was able to have an outbreak like this considering it landed in the 70’s. They need to feed off of a human to replicate that person and blend in with everyone else. It chose a night where everyone was going to be out on at a pub crawl, people who are drinking and doing drugs were easy pickings. The aliens obviously didn’t expect some local college students to uproot the whole thing and destroy their hive. Good thing for some conspiracy nuts, or else the world would have been taken over.
This has been the best one since the start of 2020. The characters are diverse and the story isn’t completely predictable. Alien invasions and zombie movies are one of my favorite genres and having it mixed into one action-packed hour and half was the best use of my time.
