This week the contestants are whittled down to the last three teams. As with the other episodes, the themes are amazing and this week the theme is Star Wars. Not only are the teams extremely excited, but they are now under enormous pressure to build the best Star Wars scene ever to impress the Lego Masters.

From the beginning, R2-D2 and C3PO come out to examine the competition area and run into Will Arnett. When the groups were released onto the floor they jumped with joy to find out that the gang was all there including BB-8. The challenge is on with the goal of building a droid with a big personality. This includes sounds and the look. Not everyone is so confident in the ability to deal with the mechanical part.

Right away Mark and Boone started on the mechanics of their Imperial Welder SBGT85. Sam and Jessica want to make a fun MP3 one band man droid and Tyler and Amy are working on the EZ-PZ droid that is a waiter with blue milk. All of these are fascinating but the mechanics are giving the groups a really hard time. Most of the teams have not worked with moving parts before so the physical elements are seemingly out of reach.

As the teams dig into their moving parts, the one hour mark is announced so that means the twist is coming. Each group presented their droids and stories and Mark and Boone received high praise, Sam and Jessica had a wheel go out on their creation and Tyler and Amy were able to create their wobbly headed droid which gave them the first win.

Now the teams are challenged to recreate a scene from the Star Wars movies. Jessica and Sam get to pick their scene last. Tyler and Amy chose the AT-AT scene, Marke and Boone chose the Imperial Bunker on Endor. Lastly, Jessica and Amy chose The Battle of Crait. Compared to the droid challenge, the teams seemed much more enthusiastic. Every team in the final ten minutes of the challenge had some type of problem or meltdown but ended up making it through to the final analysis.

Out of three teams, one must go. Every team really had great reviews so the choice seemed difficult to pick which one might win.

Bottom Two: Tyler and Amy

Jessica and Sam

Winners: Mark and Boone

The first team to be selected for the finale is Mark and Boone with their Ewoks and great forest presentation. The bottom two, Tyler, Amy, Jessica and Sam were all left hanging. This was the first time Tyler and Amy had ever been in the bottom two so they were disheartened. Luckily, no one is going home! All three teams will face off in the finale for the last episode.

Next challenge: The Finale
