Since we are all mostly stuck at home with little access to the gym and some outdoor places and activities, there is only one way to turn, and that’s to technology. While being at home, people everywhere are looking for a way to stay active. If you don’t already have some type of personal plan in motion, then these games are able to get you off the couch, out of bed or away from your computer. Here are five fitness games that you might like.

Ring Fit Adventure

Right now Ring Fit Adventure from Nintendo is pretty much impossible to find. That’s because this game takes the old process of Wii workouts to a whole other level and everyone wants it. The game comes with a ring and a leg strap and you will need all of it. This game will have you jumping, crunching (ouch), dodging, stretching and more. The story mode involves beating a body building dragon named Dragaux. This is great if working out is difficult for you. Other options include going through individual skills on your own or doing challenges.

Nintendo Fitness Boxing

Nintendo has brought their game when it comes to fitness from home. If you don’t have a punching bag, this game is great. Just hold on to your controllers and get ready. The trainer walks you through an easy tutorial and before you know it you’re dodging and weaving as well as punching. For a great time, you can play against someone in a simulated boxing ring to see who wins.

Just Dance 2020

A long time ago the Just Dance games took over the world with their routines coupled with popular songs. As the game has evolved, so has the platform. Just Dance 2020 comes loaded with tons of songs and moves, but that’s not all. You can now buy an unlimited amount of music through the game. From easy to extreme, these routines will get you sweating fast. The bonus is you can add up to four players and use the app on your phone as well, and have a fun time doing it.

Wii Fit Plus

So, we can’t forget that not everyone has the latest system, or gamers just want a taste of the past. For this game, you’ll need the Wii Fit Balance Board which is pretty easy and cheap these days. The newer Wii Fit Plus game has all of the original content that has you stretching, balancing and doing aerobics, but has more games to play now. You can even play with a friend. Trust me, doing the hula-hoop game is no joke!

Disneyland Adventures

Ok, so this one is older too but the game is unique. Disneyland Adventures utilizes the Xbox Connect cam to play but you don’t have to have any controllers. While the game can be slow when moving from one ride to the other (or doing quests), when you get in to a ride, you’re playing your way through. For example, the Winnie the Pooh ride will have you jumping up and down, going over objects while following Tigger. After a while, you’ve been through the paces but you didn’t even know because this is like being at the park, environment and all!

There are many fitness games out there for a wide range of systems. Whether you play on the newer systems or prefer the classic systems, the world has you covered. Now all you need to do is pick what suits you, or mix it up for even more fun.
