Fans who never get sick of time loop movies will certainly love this one. Feeling more like Happy Death Day than Groundhog Day, this movie is packed with hilarious loops and some sad but will enjoy none-the-less.

This movie stars Andy Samberg (Brooklyn 99) and Cristin Milioti (How I Met Your Mother) as two people who have stumbled into a mysterious cave that starts a never ending time loop that never ends. Nyles (Samberg) is a middle-aged mess dating a girl way too young for him and is spending his eternal loop getting drunk at a wedding. Sarah (Milioti) is the sister of the bridge who is hiding guilt that she is having a hard time overcoming when she walks into the proverbial “cave of wonders”. She finds out that Nyles has been there so long, that he doesn’t remember who he is. She decides that they have to make the best of it.

The spend a lot of this time doing silly pranks that they would normally never do if the next day happened. The wedding group are none the wiser. J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man) makes an appearance as a disgruntled man, named Roy, who didn’t want to live the same day over and over again. Roy then made it his mission to torture Nyles for all eternity in a number of painful, yet hilarious, ways.

While some people may think that time loop movies are played out, I still enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of watching Groundhog Day but with more people involved in the time loop. The way they get out isn’t anything like Groundhog Day but it is similar to Happy Death 2U. Readers will have to find out for themselves how the three characters get out of this quagmire.
