To create something that revolutionizes and changes an entire genre of gaming is the goal of every developer and, to a certain extent, a main reason why people play video games – to have an experience that impacts them in ways unimaginable. In the fighting genre, no game has had more of an impact than the “Street Fighter”. As the years progressed and the sequels and spin-offs to the magnificent “Street Fighter 2” so did the idea of what it meant to be a fighting game as the gaming landscape evolved especially in regards to online competition.
