The biggest thing on the way to Wrestlemania is to keep the champion and the challenger apart. You can have sit down interviews, contract signings, but you can’t have the fight come to early. Any promoter needs to study how Cody and Roman have been kept apart. Roman has Sami Zayn to deal with so his time is occupied. It might come that Cody will have someone to face at Elimination Chamber. but for now, he has kept himself to the red brand.
How do you keep momentum for the story? Enter Paul Heyman. He and Cody had a back and forth that was riveting. As Roman has grown into a hit promo guy, you would be forgiven for thinking Paul served little purpose. This segment showed that while there are many managers, there is only one Paul Heyman.
