Five years ago, after a stellar, ground-breaking year in the history of the “Like a Dragon”/“Yakuza” franchise when it came to acceptance & rave reviews in the West, the sixth number entry in Sega’s genre-bending series arrived with the promise of it being protagonist Kazuma Kiryu final story. Though he was no longer the headliner, the shadow of Kiryu loomed over the franchise while producing intrigue as to how he was able to live through his supposed death. It’s time to fill the gaps in explaining Kiryu’s resurrection, call forth a vicious army of drone, and enjoy these first impressions of “Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name”.
